The tubing for the roll bar was all custom bent and milled and fits the car perfectly. The main hoop bar is tucked close to the roof and sides of the car. The seatbelt bar is looped back so that it clears the front seats and allows them to recline. The side bars curve around the door speakers and curve in after the armrest to give you the maximum amount of shoulder room. The rear bars are kept close to the roof so that the back seats can still be used. A small notch in the rear package tray is necessary to install the rear bars. Each bar is connected to the floor with custom fabricated 1/8 inch thick steel plates. Each plate is formed to the strongest parts of the body.


 

We make all of our roll bars from drawn mild steel or chromoly tubing and TIG weld everything. The only MIG welding is between the plates and the body. This roll bar will meet NHRA specifications. Driver and passenger side swing outs and a removable seatbelt bar can be added if desired. The swing out bars can easily be removed with one bolt for street driving. 


 

We are currently working on producing a complete weld in roll bar kit for the Camaro, but want to test the design in a few more cars first.
